If you are unsatisified with your purchase, we will gladly accept exchanges and returns of regularly stocked merchandise in its original condition.
Returns with the Original Receipt
We will gladly offer an exchange or full refund within 30 days of purchase. Cash refunds exceeding $100.00 may be refunded in the form of cash, cheque or gift card at the discretion of a Manager. If a credit or debit card was used on the original purchase, that same card must be used to receive the refund. Regrettably, we are unable to accept returns on software, CDs, DVDs, live goods, food / beverages, hygienic items, cut items, custom orders and items marked final sale. All receipts must be authenticated to process the return.
Returns from a Different Home Hardware Store
Each Home Hardware is proud to accept returns of merchandise purchased at a different Home Hardware store. Items must be accompanied by the original bill of sale. All return policies apply.
Returns with a Gift Receipt
We gladly offer an exchange or full refund, in the form of a gift card, within 90 days of original purchase. A gift receipt ensures you receive an exchange or gift card for the purchase price.
Rewarded Aeroplan points must be refunded for all returned merchandise. Failure to present your Aeroplan card at the time of return will result in a cash equivalent deduction from the refunded amount.
All merchandise is subject to the manufacturers’ warranty and will be repaired or replaced as per the manufacturers’ directions. The original bill of sale is required for all warranty claims.
We will gladly offer a one-time price adjustment when you present your original sales receipt within 7 days of purchase (some exclusions apply; see below*). Price adjustments for promotional pricing such as flyers or events may only be claimed while the promotion is still valid. Price adjustments within 7 days of a Scratch and Save event will receive a 10% discount*.
