What is Scene+ and where can I sign up?
Scene+ is a loyalty rewards program that lets you earn and redeem points between several locations across Canada on the things you really want! Anyone can sign up for free at sceneplus.ca/register!
How do I earn Scene+ points at Home Hardware?
Simply present your Scene+ card or Scene+ app barcode at the time of purchase!
At Home Hardware, Scene+ members earn 50 points per $50 purchased in a single transaction before tax. For example, if the subtotal of your order (before tax) is $130, you earn 100 points. If the order subtotal was $260, you earn 250 points.
If you return any merchandise from an order on which Scene+ points were earned, points will be revoked by the refund amount in increments of 50 as well.
How do I redeem Scene+ points at Home Hardware?
Just like with earning points, simply present your Scene+ card or Scene+ app barcode at the time of purchase, and request points to be redeemed!
At Home Hardware, points may be redeemed in multiples of 1,000 ($10). So if you have 5,680 points, you may redeem up to 5,000 points or $50 toward your purchase, just as if it was cash! The maximum number of points that can be redeemed in a single transaction is 50,000, or $500.
What purchases do not earn Scene+ points at Home Hardware Lloydminster?
Every Home Hardware store across Canada may have a different policy for what services and account types can earn Scene+ points. Here’s our policy.
The following do NOT qualify for the earning of Scene+ points:
- Purchase amounts of these Paid Services:
- Delivery, freight, and fuel charges
- Assembly or labour fees (BBQ assembly, drywall placement, etc.)
- Rental of any kind
- Estimating
- Custom design
- Blueprint services
- Custom cutting
- Gift wrapping
- Advertising on our digital display
- Purchase amounts of these Products, Donations, and Surcharges:
- Food & drink from Timber Café
- Gift card activation or balance increase
- Raffle tickets
- Vouchers
- Charitable donations
- Charitable purchases (eg. charity calendars)
- Animal purchases (from our garden centre)
- Pallet deposits (returnable pallets)
- Recycle deposits
- Purchases prior to August 8th, 2023
- Purchases prior to Scene+ card ownership
- Missed points on purchases from another Home Hardware store
- Missed points on purchases older than ten (10) days
Special conditions apply to the following; see in store for details:
- Deposits & materials for major construction projects (eg. Beaver Homes & Cottages)
- House (aka Charge) accounts
- Contractor accounts
If your Scene+ card is forgotten, tell our cashier at the time of purchase. They will insert a comment that the card was forgotten. Within 10 days, bring your receipt back to the store with your Scene+ card and a supervisor will issue your points to you. Receipts must have “Scene+ Forgotten Card” included in the bill of sale in order to qualify for missed points.
Can I redeem my points toward a Home Hardware Gift Card?
At this time, we cannot activate gift cards in-store with the use of redeemed points. The way to get a gift card with your points is to log into your account at sceneplus.ca, go to Rewards –> Gift Cards –> Home & Hardware –> Home Hardware and redeem your points toward a physical or digital Home Hardware gift card there!
I’m a Scene+ member and I have a Scotiabank Scene+ Visa or debit card. Can I use both cards on my purchase to earn more points?
Yes you can! Scotiabank Scene+ Visa cardholders earn 2 Scene+ points for every $1 purchased with their card at Home Hardware. If they present a separate Scene+ member card, they may also earn an additional 50 points per $50! This is a great way to accelerate earnings!
